We're passionate about our purpose, people and planet. From recycled fabric and fair manufacture to making our swimwear last, our green credentials are core values at Deakin & Blue.
Literally. All our swimwear is made from ECONYL® - a 100% regenerated nylon fibre made from waste such as old fishing nets and industrial plastic.
The production studio that makes our swimwear is in London. It prides itself on premium craftsmanship in a safe working environment. We know the people who make our garments.
We work with Oeko-Tex® certified suppliers, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturers and partners who pay fairly, use chemicals safely and minimise waste where possible.
Good things stand the test of time (and tides, and salt water and so on). We use fabrics which are twice as resistant to chlorine, sun cream and oil as standard Lycra® to guarantee durability.
We use 100% reusable and recyclable packaging materials to avoid harming the environment. Even our tissue paper uses soy-based ink and is printed on acid-free FSC® certified paper.
All our swimwear comes with CoppaFeel! #BraHijack labels to remind you to check for signs of breast cancer.
We can customise any of our pieces (free of charge) to fit a post-mastectomy prosthetic. Find our more about our post-surgery swimwear.
We regularly collaborate with organisations such as Mental Health Swims and Love The Oceans. Together we help have a positive impact on the planet and the communities we serve.
