United KingdomI’ve just purchased my third Essential Black Swimsuit- the first one is still going strong after about 5 years and countless year round swims in the cold Atlantic off the west coast of Ireland. I have never found a swimsuit that fit me this well and when you find ‘the one’ you never let it go! What I love about this brand is (clearly ) the enduring sustainability and the fact that I can rely on my forever swimsuit still being in stock 5 years later. I rotate my 3 suits with the oldest still in great shape the colour has only faded slightly after a bazillion swims!

United KingdomIt’s a great swimsuit, keeps everything in and feels good quality. I use it for lane swimming and Aquafit. My only comment is I’m 5’5”” and a normal size 14. For me it’s a little short in the body, but a bigger size would be too big everywhere else. I still love it.

I've bought 2 or 3 swimming costumes or tankinis in the last couple of years, and every one has changed colour within a couple of months, even if they said they were chlorine resistant. I've had my Deakin & Blue costume and it's still perfect. I'm a size 16 - 18 38F and went for a Hendricks in 16 because the 18 was a bit big. It's a lovely fit and I think it's quite flattering. I'll definitely buy another swimsuit from Deakin & Blue - I'd love some shorts that are shorter than the ones you currently sell.

Jude’s body story"While I always swam, I wasn't brilliantly sporty. At school, I tended to slide off and go and do some art during sports. Like, when we had to play lacrosse, which was grim, I used to just shimmy off to the art room. The PE teachers wrote me a nice report and that's when I realised that they didn't know who I was! But, I always loved swimming and I was in the swimming team.
I loved the feeling of swimming, but I didn't like the chlorine and the smell of it all. I've always loved open water. I used to spend a lot of time looking for deeper pools in the river – even if they weren’t swimmable, it was just being able to dunk and hide in the reeds."
