#BTS: D&B SS20 Customer Photoshoot

Last week we had the pleasure of hosting five D&B customers in a photoshoot designed to celebrate the launch of our Spring Summer 2020 collection (coming soon...) in collaboration with our biggest inspiration: the D&B woman.

The shoot featured five different customers: Ameera, Laura, Rabiah, Naomi & Sophie, and celebrated their diversity of character, shape, size, race, age and more.

We gathered at a beach hut on Brighton Beach – the celebrated home of diversity in the UK and home also to the cold sea which many of these remarkable women swim in and visit on a daily basis. This shoot told their stories, what swimming means to them, who they swim with and their multi-faceted relationships with their bodies – and how those relationships have changed through swimming.

It was an incredibly moving and inspiring day – and a complete privilege to be in the company of these smart, articulate and brilliant women.

We’ll be releasing the images from the shoot over the coming weeks but, for now, enjoy our pick of our favourite behind the scenes images of our brilliant all-woman team in action.
